Checking Order Status
Dell order status can be verified on the Dell site in UCD Buy or by using Materiel Management Decision Support.
Dell site:
- Log into UCD Buy and then click on the Dell Computers link under the Browse Vendor Web Site section on the left pane of the screen.
- Click on the Premier tab at the top of the screen.
- Click on Order Status.
- Scroll down to View Orders By Reference Number.
- Select Order Number and enter the Dell order number in Step 1, or Select PO Number and enter the UCD Buy Order number.
- Select Company Name and enter UC Davis.
- Click Submit.
- Log into UCD Buy and then select MM Decision Support on the Links drop-down menu on the left pane of the screen.
- There are several report options to choose from. Lookup by Order Number, Lookup by Reference Number and Order Lookup by User ID provide a report with the order number, document initiator name, order date and time, and delivery location. You can drill down on the order number for an itemized breakdown of all items on the order.
