Fraud Alert
Fraud Alert: Someone has been using the university's credit references in an attempt to open accounts with several vendors across the country. The credit reference letter is generally an altered version of the one previously found on our website, and the person(s) refer to themselves as being from the "Regents of the University of California." If you have any suspicion about any contact you receive that indicates it is from UC Davis, please call (530) 752-0370 immediately to confirm.

The Silencer® S2200 Centrifuge Recall


This centrifuge is being recalled due a potential risk for for physical injury and/or biological exposure. There has been one reported incident of a bucket and insert not being seated on the rotor, breaking the lid, and being forced out of the centrifuge. Triad Sterile Lubricating Jelly


Professional Hospital Supply has informed us of two recalls of products manufactured by Triad Group.

  • Sterile Lubricating Jelly - This recall has been initiated due to concerns regarding the gamma radiation sterilization cycles for these products. Any product covered by this recall should be immediately quarantined, due to the potential risk of patient infection. For details of the recall, including additional actions to take, please click here.
  • Alcohol Prep Pads, Alcohol Swabs and Alcohol Swabsticks - There is concern that these products are contaminated with Bacillum cereus, and potentially could lead to life-threatening infections, especially in at-risk groups. These items were manufactured by Triad, but sold under private labels. For the FDA press release, and a complete list of products, click here.
Due to the potential of health risk, it is important that you check your stock for any stock that fits this recall.
